Speaker:
Elora-Dane Hurcomb. DipVN CertE&CC
Elora qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2018 working after working in a busy mixed animal practice. She gained a certificate in Emergency & Critical Care whilst working in referral nursing in early 2022. She joined Bristol Vet Specialists in 2022 as part of the anaesthesia team and became Senior Anaesthesia Nurse in 2023. Elora is currently working towards her VTS in Anaesthesia.
Elora is passionate about patient welfare and endorsing the RVN role. She is up for a challenge and loves learning. As a self-confessed cat lady, she strongly believes no cat is aggressive, just misunderstood.
Lecture Synopsis:
Hypotension is a common finding under general anaesthesia with the majority of patients, troubleshooting this effectively and knowing the treatment options and their indications is valuable knowledge for the RVN.
This talk will help build confidence and expand your knowledge of hypotension and general anaesthesia.

During her time in practice, Carly has worked within the large animal and small animal referral scenes and everything in between. She has settled into an anaesthesia role at a referral hospital in Bristol as a dedicated anaesthesia nurse. Carly has a certificate in feline friendly nursing, anaesthesia and surgical nursing. |
