Do you want to up-skill, increase your role and understanding in Radiography and improve on your Diagnostic Imaging Techniques?
As veterinary nurses we spend a lot of time with our patients, as our case loads become evermore demanding on our vets it’s time to flex our nurse muscles and get confident with diagnostic imaging!
Written specifically for the Veterinary Nurse working in either first opinion or referral practice and presented by one of the leading Radiographers at IMV, this course will help you to both learn and implement intermediate and advanced diagnostic imaging techniques.
The aim of this course is to increase your confidence in radiography by helping you to better understand the practical physics involved, and how this can impact image quality.
You will be covering X-ray generation, and the various types of X-ray image processing, and how they work. Including information on radiation safety, which has recently become a hotter topic with the changes to radiation regulations in the UK.
We would like to thank IMV for sponsoring this course, and the wonderful Kat Evans who has given us 10 hours of CPD!
To learn more about how you can gain more confidence with diagnostic imaging, this course is one one to get your teeth into.
