Veterinary Surgeons Act Reform – Practice Regulation

20 October @ 19:00 - 20:00
Free

In ongoing work to reform the outdated Veterinary Surgeons Act, we’ll soon be calling on the whole veterinary nursing profession to shape your future – and every individual voice matters.

In the final session of this three-part series on VSA reform, we’ll be covering regulation of veterinary practices.

We’ll discuss why legislation needs to change, in order to safeguard animal welfare, the veterinary team and clients. BVNA has also been a main party to the ongoing CMA investigation, and so the panel will also cover the potential implications of this investigation to the development of new legislation.

We’ll also provide an overview of the work BVNA has been carrying out in this area to date, and opportunities for the VN profession to influence future legislation.

This is your opportunity to get involved in the discussion – please submit any questions to our panel via bvna@bvna.co.uk.

Speakers:

Lyndsay Hughes RVN
BVNA President

Sarah Holliday RVN
