Willett House Veterinary Surgeons and Reed Veterinary Practice join the Kin Vet Community

Willett House Veterinary Surgeons, a well-respected group of eight practices based in Southwest London, has become part of the Kin Vet Community. This strategic move reinforces Kin Vet Community’s commitment to delivering exceptional veterinary care and enhancing services in the local community.

Willett House Veterinary Surgeons, first established in 1837, is renowned for its high standards of care and advanced surgical capabilities, providing invaluable GP and second opinion support to a wide network of clients and local practices and employing over 70 staff. The integration of Willett House into the Kin Vet Community is the next stage in an evolution that will see the practice moving forward with a full complement of staff, ensuring that pet owners continue to receive the best veterinary services available.

Willett House Veterinary Surgeons’ directors, Leigh Sobye, Gerard Clarke and Aaron Hunt, will continue as practice leaders and are looking forward to engaging within the collaborative culture of Kin Vet Community. “Aaron, Gerard and I are looking forward to building a collaborative relationship and continuing to grow Willett House as a community based veterinary care provider,” commented Leigh.

This development follows Kin Vet Community’s recent purchase of Reed Veterinary Practice, another established practice that is valued by pet-owners in and around Royston, Hertfordshire. Together, these additions to the group enhance the collaborative care model and exemplify Kin Vet Community’s dedication to fostering strong, community-oriented veterinary practices that prioritise both client and patient needs.

Spending the day with the team at Willet House Veterinary Surgeons’ main clinic in Staines shortly after completing the purchase, Ciara McCormack MVB MRCVS, CEO of Kin Vet Community, said, “We are delighted to welcome Willett House Veterinary Surgeons and Reed Veterinary Practice to the Kin Vet Community. Their commitment to exceptional veterinary care and community support aligns perfectly with our vision. We all share the aim of nurturing our team and enabling everyone to deliver the best care for our communities. We look forward to working together to grow and enhance our services for pets and their owners.”

Kin Vet Community remains focused on building a supportive network of veterinary practices that excel in delivering high-quality care. The integration of Willett House Veterinary Surgeons and Reed Veterinary Practice is a significant step towards achieving this mission.
