XLVets warmly welcomes six new team members. As the XLVets membership continues to grow, this team development puts in place new talents to meet the current and future needs of the XLVets membership of independent veterinary practices. Each new team member brings a wealth of experience, passion, and dedication to their roles, aligning with XLVets’ values of collaboration and excellence in veterinary care.
Will Ridgway joins XLVets as Chief Commercial Officer, bringing significant experience from his leadership roles at Casco Pet and Krka. His deep understanding of independent veterinary practices and how value is perceived and delivered will be very beneficial as XLVets continues to support its members and introduce new product and service opportunities.
Rory Gibson, now serving as Member Support Executive for XLVets’ VetSkills, brings a wealth of experience from her extensive career in veterinary nursing and animal rescue in both the US and the UK. Her role at XLVets includes managing VetSkills courses and contributing to initiatives like the book clubs and Nursing Network.
Gareth Hines, new Project Manager, has a strong background in software delivery and project management. His expertise will build upon the team’s project management skills and enhance the digital delivery of services to members.
Evelyn Baglee, XLVets’ new Farm and Equine Marketing Executive, graduated with First Class Honors in Entrepreneurial Business Management from Northumbria University. Her passion for farm and equine businesses and her understanding of the importance of collaboration align perfectly with XLVets’ commitment to fostering strong member relationships and support.
Ian Mackintosh, XLVets’ new Member Marketing and Communications Executive, comes with over 18 years of experience in marketing, PR, and content creation within the outdoor retail industry. Ian’s skills in marketing and communications will help promote the value of practices deeply connected to their local communities, owned and directed by those living within those communities.
Rachel Clay joins XLVets in the newly created role of Clinical Quality Improvement Lead. A Bristol Graduate, Rachel brings with her extensive clinical experience having worked as a veterinary surgeon in clinical and leadership roles in the charity, corporate, and independent practice sectors. Rachel has a passion for quality improvement and a strong interest in human factors, and brings this to her role in XLVets where she will inspire and engage member practices in the positive benefits of quality improvement.
