Veterinary Surgeons Act Reform – Regulation of the veterinary professions

In ongoing work to reform the outdated Veterinary Surgeons Act, we’ll soon be calling on the whole veterinary nursing profession to shape your future – and every individual voice matters.

In the second of this three-part series on VSA reform, we’ll be covering regulation of individual veterinary professionals.

We’ll discuss why legislation needs to change to enable more effective regulation, what this means for individual RVNs and wider practice teams, and BVNA’s vision for future regulation of RVNs.

We’ll also provide insight into the work BVNA has been carrying out in this area to date, and opportunities for the VN profession to influence future legislation.
