The College of Animal Welfare (CAW)’s annual Head Nurse Congress, which was set to take place in May, has now been rescheduled to later on in the year due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak. The new dates for the event will be the 3 and 4 November 2020. CAW looks forward to welcoming current and aspiring head veterinary nurses to explore everything from the role of the head nurse and the responsibilities that come with it, to the challenges they face on a daily basis.
The two-day congress, sponsored by Veterinary Management Group, is aimed at new, experienced and aspiring head veterinary nurses and practice managers and will be held at the East of England Arena and Events Centre in Peterborough (PE2 6XE). During the event, delegates will get the chance to listen to talks from expert industry speakers, as well as have the opportunity to network with both exhibitors and fellow head nurses – all while gaining 12 hours of evidenced CPD.
