Lecture Synopsis:

Osteoarthritis is common in both cats and dogs resulting in chronic pain. The negative effects of this disease have a wide ranging impact upon affected animals and significantly affect their quality of life. The vet nursing team play a vital role in helping to increase diagnosis rates and optimise disease management; this day will focus on how a team approach can be employed to maximise patient outcomes and delve in to the latest clinical information around Librela to enable nurses to feel confident in their nurse OA consults.

Learning Points:

  • To understand how the vet nurse can drive OA diagnosis and optimise disease management strategies
  • To understand how Librela and Solensia can help how we manage our patients
  • To feel confident in applying appropriate resources and tools effectively in practical scenarios within your practice
  • To gain an understanding of product safety profiles and pharmacovigilance process
