Veterinary Surgeons Act Reform – What does it mean for veterinary nurses?

17 September @ 19:00 - 20:00
Free

In ongoing work to reform the outdated Veterinary Surgeons Act, we’ll soon be calling on the whole veterinary nursing profession to shape your future – and every individual voice matters.

In the first of this three-part series, we’ll be discussing the impact a new VSA could have on veterinary nurses, and the ways of working of the veterinary team. We’ll also provide an insight into the work BVNA has been carrying out in this area to date, and important opportunities for you to directly influence future legislation.

From protecting the VN title, to lifting the restrictions of Schedule 3, and enabling better utilisation of RVNs’ skillsets – there is real potential for meaningful change with the introduction of a new Act.

Please submit any questions you may have for the panel to bvna@bvna.co.uk.
