Tick borne diseases are being seen with increasingly frequency in small animal practice in the UK. In part this is due to greater awareness of these conditions and better diagnostic tests, but also that vector populations are changing with climate and animals are being seen in the UK with non-endemic disease due to travel and importation. This talk will focus on Borreliosis, Babesiosis, Erhlichiosis and Anaplasmosis providing updates on diagnosis and treatment for each of these emerging UK diseases.
